Holiday Public Art at Eccles Theater

Add Eccles Theater to your list of downtown holiday destinations this season!

Stop by to see our non-traditional holiday tree, reminiscent of a snow-covered tree in a silent forest. It is made from 4,150 pieces of torn and silver-leafed paper strung on 950 hand-tied strings between two 10×10 metal grids hanging from the ceiling.

The installation is open to the public from 8 am to 8 pm every day in the Eccles Grand Lobby through the end of the year – it’s particularly beautiful after dusk, with the lobby lights dimmed, the sun down and the tree lit up. After 8 pm the tree will be lit until midnight and can be seen through the main street windows.
