A fairy tale filled with magic, love, and beauty.
Adam Sklute’s critically acclaimed 2015 production makes it’s triumphant return to the Utah stage. A true test of a ballet company’s artistic depth, Swan Lake is the story of a sad prince, an evil sorcerer, and a beautiful woman turned swan. With heart-wrenching and glorious music by Tchaikovsky, this ballet is a feast for the senses, and a must-see whether you are an aficionado or a newcomer to ballet.
What is “Warm Ups”?
Warm Ups is a fun and informative pre-curtain discussion with members of our artistic staff where participants get the inside scoop on the performance and the chance to ask any ballet questions they might have. Warm Ups is free to all ticket holders and will add to your enjoyment and understanding of the performance. Warm Ups are held one hour before each production (except for The Nutcracker and National Choreographic Festival) and is given by a member of the Artistic Staff. Warm Ups lasts about 30 minutes.
Run time: approximately 2 hours including a 20 minute intermission (subject to change)
Recommended for ages 8 and up. No babes in arms. All patrons must have a ticket regardless of age and occupy their own seat. When availability allows, Student and Senior tickets can be purchased the day of the performance for $15.
Late seating will take place through the Overture and will then resume at intermission.
